Cagayan de Oro City Information Office Representative Jade Adeser announced the signing of a formal Sisterhood City Agreement between Cagayan de Oro and San Juan City during the League of Cities summit.
Adeser clarified that the partnership involves no financial exchanges, focusing instead on bilateral cooperation across economic development, tourism, sports, and municipal governance best practices.
He noted that the institutional alliance will continue under future city administrations to support municipal exchange programs.
