Fr. Derjohn Faborada, Social Communications Director of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, expressed the Church’s full support for victims of extrajudicial killings (EJK).
He stated that the establishment of a truth commission would be a significant opportunity for victims to attain justice that was denied to them through due process.
The priest further emphasized the need for unity in defending morality and truth within society.
Fr. Faborada also reminded the faithful to continue praying for the nation and the government so that the problem of illegal drugs may finally be resolved. In closing, he expressed hope that no more lives would be lost because of this crisis.
