City Tourism Officer Marky Jalapadan confirmed that Cagayan de Oro’s Incident Management Team will be activated next week to ensure a peaceful and orderly celebration of the upcoming Higalaay Festival.
The city government is finalizing an integrated plan combining security, disaster response, health emergency protocols, and traffic management alongside local police and force multipliers.
Jalapadan shared that all necessary measures are being put in place to guarantee a smooth and successful celebration for residents and visitors alike. This year’s festival carries the theme “Our Gift, Our Pride, Our Guide,” continuing the city’s charter celebration series
