Janine Querequere, the silver medalist in chess at the Palarong Pambansa 2026, expressed her joy over the 46,000-peso incentive she will receive following her victory.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Querequere shared that she plans to invest the money, give a portion to her father, and use a part of it for their home.
Additionally, she shared that she promised to buy her sibling stuffed toys as a treat for her medal win. Looking ahead, the young athlete pledged to continue her training to further sharpen her skills in the game.
Finally, she extended her heartfelt gratitude to the Lord for the success she achieved in the competition.
