Catechist Wilson Amad stressed the importance of catechism in schools following the rise of violent incidents on campuses nationwide.

He explained that catechism has long been a Church program for students from elementary to high school.

Amad pointed out that sessions should not be held at noon or lunchtime so students can better focus on lessons.

He also urged strengthening psycho-spiritual counseling programs to assist young people with mental health issues and to make moral and biblical lessons more engaging and less monotonous.
