Lay theologian Wilson Amad condemned attempts to delay the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), calling the move an evasion of democratic accountability aimed at securing unearned term extensions.
Amad warned that legislative approval of the postponement remains a strong possibility despite public resistance.
He called on citizens to exercise their voting rights during election cycles to hold accountable any lawmakers or local officials who support delaying statutory polls.
