The Cagayan de Oro Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) has granted Green GSM Electric Taxis a six-month provisional trial period to evaluate fleet performance and route viability within the city.
RTA Head Doy Ramiro explained that actual passenger operations are necessary to test route efficiency and refine mapping technicalities for passenger convenience.
Ramiro added that while the fleet holds temporary authority from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), municipal authorities are taking steps to ensure the trial does not adversely affect local transport operators.
