City Information Officer Jade Adeser reported that traffic flow in Cagayan de Oro improved from heavy to moderate during the first three days of implementing the new transport route plan.

Adeser noted that restricting provincial buses to the Bulua and Agora terminals—preventing them from entering the city center—has also helped reduce overall vehicle smoke emissions.

The city government is strictly enforcing the 2007 ordinance to ensure all provincial routes drop off passengers strictly at designated terminals.

The local government requested continued public understanding during the month-long adjustment period as officials evaluate the positive impact on road management.
