Daniel Nobleza of the Inday Sara Movement Philippines defended Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband, Atty. Manases Carpio, against corruption allegations, asserting that illicit assets are not disclosed in official Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN).
Nobleza stated that the Vice President’s financial disclosures accurately reflect income derived from legitimate private business enterprises and professional legal practice established prior to her entry into public office.
He added that political opponents are misusing bank confidentiality rules to damage her reputation, pointing to her administrative track record in Davao City as evidence of her public service integrity.
