Former ARMM Assemblywoman Samira Gutoc appealed to Bangsamoro communities to end political and family feuds (rido) following the parliamentary elections, warning against conditions that could lead to widespread instability similar to the Marawi Siege.
Gutoc emphasized that historic feuding has drained trillions of pesos in public resources and cost countless lives across Mindanao since the 1970s.
She urged regional leaders and residents to showcase effective self-governance through peaceful conflict resolution and responsible fiscal management.
