Captain Rey Valeros of the United People’s Initiative (UPI) urged Vice President Sara Duterte’s legal team to withdraw from the Senate Impeachment Court and file an immediate petition before the Supreme Court, alleging systematic witness coaching by the prosecution.
Valeros questioned the credibility of proposed prosecution witness and former police officer Rodulfo Gracioso Jr., citing pending legal cases and alleging political ties to former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.
He noted that Gracioso was turned over to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) pending a formal ruling on his witness admissibility.
