Lapasan Punong Barangay Julito Ogsimer ordered the suspension of classes yesterday at Lapasan National High School—covering Grade 7 through Grade 12—to prevent any potential harm from an active security threat.
Ogsimer emphasized that security threats must never be taken lightly when the safety of innocent students and teachers is at risk.
Upon receiving reports regarding planned attacks that also referenced other schools, officials immediately implemented a preventive suspension.
Ogsimer added that taking proactive protective measures is crucial, as it is far better to be prepared than to regret inaction later.
