Although the dates for the city’s major events are still approaching, the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) has issued an early warning to attendees of the Higalaay Festival activities to be responsible with their trash.

According to CLENRO Manager Bing Mabilen, their personnel are ready and have already met with the new contractor to ensure rapid cleanup after every event.

This step is taken to ensure that the environment remains orderly and clean throughout the festival celebration.

Consequently, Mabilen appealed to the public to bring their own water bottles and avoid indiscriminate plastic disposal.
