The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Cagayan de Oro continues preparations for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) this November, despite legislative proposals regarding term adjustments.
Comelec CDO First District Election Officer Atty. Dexter Nagtalon confirmed that local offices are awaiting the final printing of the Projected Computerized Voters List (PCVL) and conducting poll worker training.
Although proposals remain in Congress to potentially postpone elections to November 2028, local election operations remain on schedule to ensure administrative readiness.
