Preparations for the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) scheduled for November 2 remain ongoing, according to City Election Officer Atty. Ramil Acol.
Atty. Acol clarified that COMELEC is bound by current statutory deadlines in the absence of enacted postponement legislation from Congress.
Filing for the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) is scheduled to run from September 28 to October 5.
