DDS Sara All Confederation Legal Counsel Atty. Raymond Batu warned government officials that allocating state funds for a ₱50-million bounty targeting Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa could result in graft charges under the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
Batu argued that utilizing public tax revenues to enforce an international tribunal warrant outside Philippine jurisdiction constitutes an unlawful expenditure and a misuse of public resources during economic inflation and drought conditions.
He noted that officials within Malacañang and the DILG could face legal liability should public funds be disbursed for the proposed reward.
