Pastor Jeff Baconga of the Cagayan de Oro Evangelical Council lamented that corruption has become ingrained in Philippine society, describing it as a legacy inherited from colonial rulers.
He argued that rallies are no longer effective in awakening the conscience of corrupt officials, and instead called for prayer and divine intervention to correct the nation’s system.
