Authorities begin the temporary closure of the Daumar Street Night Market today, February 3, after the Night Market Management Committee (NMMC) approved the suspension during its January 22 meeting.
The suspension aims to enforce discipline among vendors and ensure order, cleanliness, and safety in the area.
Atty. Egay Uy states that officials have not yet set a definite date for lifting the suspension.
PCapt. Oclarit reminds vendors that those who defy or ignore the closure order will face sanctions through the Command Center.
Officials urge vendors and the public to follow regulations, cooperate with authorities, and wait for further announcements regarding the possible reopening of the Daumar Street Night Market.
