DOLE-X Regional Technical Director JV Vasallo affirmed why hiring under the Marcos administration has become swift through the effective implementation of the agency’s flagship employment programs.
In fact, he disclosed that during the mega job fair held on May 1 in the city, over 3,000 applicants registered, with more than 90 hired on the spot.
Meanwhile, he added that after one month, over 300 individuals were provided jobs through the agency’s continuous monitoring.
Aside from this, he explained that local governments through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) are also active in holding monthly pocket job fairs to help more first-time job seekers.
