Ahead of the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) this November, Provincial Election Supervisor of Misamis Oriental, Atty. Carlito Ravelo, emphasized the importance of retraining electoral boards.
Since the manual process now differs from the usual method, teachers must fully understand the rules on ballot appreciation and counting.
He clarified that failing to refresh knowledge on the legal aspects of counting—especially for ballots with unclear markings—could be risky.
He stressed that strict adherence to election laws is necessary to ensure accurate vote counting, making retraining essential to avoid errors during the elections.
