Executive Secretary Ralph Recto announced that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has officially extended the ad interim appointments of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon and Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Giovanni Lopez to maintain continuity in major infrastructure projects.
Recto clarified that Malacañang will formally submit their nominations to the Commission on Appointments for confirmation in due course, ensuring executive leadership remains uninterrupted during ongoing project execution.
