Farmers from Don Carlos, Bukidnon staged a rally yesterday in front of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Region 10 office to strengthen their long-standing demand for the Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA).

According to Pat Jared V. Panganithon, Policy and Communication Officer of the Philippine Movement for Climate Justice in Mindanao, the farmers have been waiting for 38 years to receive land titles for the property they have been cultivating.

Panganithon emphasized that this is not just a simple protest. The Don Carlos, Bukidnon United Farmers Association, Incorporated personally delivered a letter to the Regional Director to seek a final resolution.

Similar to the mobilization held on July 3, 2025, the farmers expressed frustration over repeated explanations and excuses without concrete action.

Despite the long struggle, the farmers remain hopeful that through this step, the concerned agency will finally address their decades-old demand after generations of hard work.
