The Consumers for Renewable Energy Advocacy in Mindanao (CREAM) partnered with the Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the 33rd Mindanao Business Conference to push for a transition toward cleaner energy sources across the region.

CREAM Project Director Bencyrus Ellorin highlighted the critical need to reduce reliance on coal and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy.

Ellorin stated that shifting away from fossil fuels will drive faster economic progress and fulfill long-term development goals for Mindanao.

The advocacy group expressed hope that working alongside business leaders will help expedite policies for a more sustainable energy framework.
