Lay theologian Wilson C. Amad challenged Filipinos to demonstrate integrity and firm unity to effectively block the threats coming from China.
Despite the vast disparity in military capabilities, he believes that maintaining a good image before the international community will serve as the country’s defense against malicious tactics intended to divide the people.
Amad explained that a common strategy of China is to infiltrate the country’s leaders by offering money to weaken Filipino unity.
Therefore, he asserted that through this effort and by standing firm on principles, the Philippines will become stronger in facing any external threats.
