Filipinos in the U.S. are coping differently with the ongoing heatwave, as they are accustomed to hot weather in the Philippines compared to native Americans.
Bombo International Correspondent Dolly Ilogon reported that many Filipinos consider the heat more tolerable than the freezing winter.
However, she cautioned that Filipinos abroad should still take precautions, as some have already adapted to colder climates.
Ilogon emphasized that no one should be complacent in extreme heat, even if they feel comfortable with it.
