As President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. chases his legacy in the remaining time of his term, Atty. Oscar Moreno expressed that it would have been better if he had included the phrase “I am ashamed” to demonstrate a sincere desire for reform.

The former Cagayan de Oro City Mayor and Xavier University law professor added that such a statement must originate from him as the chief executive of the country to make change genuine and believable.

Still, the lawyer pointed out that this is the president’s last opportunity to prove his genuine intent to bring real transformation to the country.
