While the Higalaay Festival and the month of August have concluded, festivities at the Mary Rose Carnival continue through a five-day free ride initiative extended by Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, which launched last night.
The mayor explained that the extension allows residents who were unable to attend earlier festival activities to participate in the carnival.
To ensure public safety, city leadership is coordinating with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) and the Chief of Staff to refine crowd management protocols.
Through these operational adjustments, officials hope more families can safely enjoy the free carnival rides.
