Heritage consultant Ryan Albert Ignatius Sanchez criticized persistent governance issues and corruption following National Heroes’ Day observations.

He noted that institutional corruption targeted by historical figures like Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio continues to affect contemporary society, urging the public to actively promote civic integrity and governance reforms.
