House Prosecution Panel Spokesperson and Lanao del Sur Representative Zia Alonto Adiong asserted that Vice President Sara Duterte alone can clarify the ₱4.4-billion gap between Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) transaction records and her official Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) from 2007 to 2025.
Following the data synthesis presented by Senate Presiding Officer Chiz Escudero, Adiong noted that while the AMLC figures represent cumulative inflows and outflows across accounts held by the Vice President and her husband, Atty. Manases Carpio, a formal explanation remains necessary regarding the disparity with her declared net worth.
He reiterated the prosecution’s call for the Vice President to directly address questions concerning bank declarations and private business interests.
