House Prosecutor Atty. Terry Ridon welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision dismissing procedural petitions aimed at halting Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial.
Ridon characterized the defense petitions as time-wasting filings, stating that the dismissal allows the trial to proceed according to schedule.
He emphasized that resuming proceedings before the Senate Impeachment Court ensures a transparent evaluation of evidence and fact-finding.
