Barangay Captain Pablo M. Bactong confirmed that a farmer discovered a human skull wrapped in a black jacket in Purok 5 on July 7, 2026.
Police from Puerto Station immediately brought the bones for investigation.
A local family, who has a missing relative for four months, suspects the remains may belong to their kin based on the jacket and clothing found.
Captain Bactong added that the missing person’s dental features—specifically missing teeth—matched the skull.
