In line with the celebration of Pride Month, John Paul Villamora, senior officer of ILAW Shared Community, urged that everyone be given the chance to express their true identity.
Villamora appealed to the public to end discrimination against LGBTQ+ members, particularly on issues related to SOGIE. He emphasized the need for unity and mutual respect, noting that people are simply striving to live with dignity in society.
The group expressed hope that more individuals will become allies in their cause. Finally, Villamora reaffirmed his support for the community’s continuing struggle to push for the passage of the SOGIE Equality Bill.
