The impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte could become bloody, according to Rauf Sissay of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan.
He highlighted serious allegations, such as the misuse of ₱612 million in confidential funds by the OVP and DepEd, supported by Commission on Audit findings.
He also mentioned undeclared wealth of Duterte and her husband amounting to ₱6.7 billion linked to questionable bank transactions.
Despite motions filed by Duterte’s legal team to dismiss the complaint, Sissay emphasized that the impeachment trial is the most appropriate venue to examine the truth behind these accusations.
