Attorney LJ Ramos of Carrasco and Geñoso Law Office clarified that now that the impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte has formally started, it cannot be stopped and must proceed to completion regardless of the outcome.
He explained that the Impeachment Court will use Subpoena Duces Tecum to compel the submission of important files and Subpoena Ad Testificandum to require individuals to testify.
These measures prove that the trial is fully underway as mandated by the Constitution.
