Acting City Information Officer Jade Adeser invited residents and visitors to join and support the grand launching of the Higalaay Festival on Thursday, August 6.
Adeser announced that the grand kick-off will take place at Rio de Oro Boulevard, launching a lineup of events running through August 31.
The opening celebration will feature free live entertainment from popular musical acts, including the band Itchyworms and singer Darren Espanto. City officials and special VIP guests are expected to attend to formally open the annual fiesta festivities.
