Former Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Atty. James Judith criticized the ongoing impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte, calling them “politics and a waste of time” amid the nation’s pressing crises.
He argued that while the world grapples with economic turmoil and widespread issues, Congress should focus on urgent problems rather than lengthy political processes.
Judith added that if accountability for alleged violations is the goal, cases should be filed in proper courts where evidence can be heard and addressed.
For him, the impeachment reflects political agenda dominating the process rather than genuine pursuit of justice or attention to the people’s needs.
