Liceo de Cagayan University College of Law professor Atty. Samson So Tan emphasized that both prosecution and defense teams must closely analyze the past rulings and legal philosophies of the three retired Supreme Court justices designated as amicus curiae.
Tan stated that studying the former justices’ constitutional interpretations will provide strategic guidance for both legal camps as the Senate Impeachment Court evaluates voting mechanics and procedural rules.
