The group Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (KADAMAY) vowed to continue pressuring and reminding the government of its promise to hold accountable the “big fish” involved in widespread corruption.
Mimi Doringo of the group stated that although some individuals have already been jailed, they are not fully satisfied, believing these actions only serve to cover up the bigger players in corruption.
She emphasized that the Filipino people’s greatest debtors in corruption issues are President Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte.
Thus, the group called for all officials involved in massive misuse of public funds to finally be held accountable.
