The administration lacks a clear roadmap for workers, especially job order and contractual workers—this was the critique of Federation of Free Workers National President Atty. Sonny Matula.
While pointing out that out of an estimated 900,000 to 1 million government contractuals, only a small number have been regularized due to the administration’s alleged lack of political will, he revealed that many are still denied constitutional rights and proper benefits.
Therefore, Atty. Matula urged the president to focus on this matter to ensure job regularization rather than just providing social security to workers.
