Atty. Samson So Tan of the Liceo de Cagayan University College of Law questioned the validity of the arrest warrant issued against Vice President Sara Duterte, noting that her legal team has filed a petition before the Supreme Court.
Tan stated that as an impeachable official, Duterte holds constitutional protections while in office, arguing the warrant may constitute judicial overreach.
The legal expert also questioned the expedited issuance of court orders in the absence of finalized criminal filings.
