Liberal Youth Northern Mindanao Chairman Andre Josol reiterated opposition to legislative proposals seeking to postpone or align the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) scheduled for November.
Josol argued that postponing the election would waste the ₱8 billion already spent by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in administrative preparations.
He emphasized that barangay governance provides essential daily frontline services and warned that further delays would suppress emerging youth leaders across local communities.
