Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Roger Abaday called on the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and private operators to coordinate with local authorities prior to deploying Green GSM electric taxis in the municipality.
Abaday affirmed the city administration’s support for transport modernization while emphasizing the necessity of securing local business permits and protecting existing municipal operators.
He noted that stakeholder consultations aim to resolve operational conflicts and ensure fair market conditions.
