The Lumbia Public Transport Cooperative (LPTC) granted its member drivers discretion on whether to participate in Monday’s transport strike prompted by rising fuel and living costs, while confirming that the cooperative itself will not officially join the protest.
LPTC President Bong Arceo explained that the cooperative is maintaining standard operations to safeguard its government-issued franchise and preserve public trust, while respecting individual driver decisions amid economic pressures.
