City Economic Enterprises and Business Development Administration (CEEBDA) General Manager Jocelyn Peñalosa announced that Cogon and Carmen Public Markets will temporarily close every Friday at 8:00 PM to execute intensive general cleaning operations.
Peñalosa stated that stall holders are required to maintain daily stall sanitation and participate in weekly deep cleaning conducted in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection and the City Public Services Department.
She emphasized that municipal ordinances mandate vendor compliance with sanitation standards to maintain public health and orderly commerce.
