Despite President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s absence at the Mindanao Business Conference due to an emergency full cabinet meeting addressing gross domestic product trends and congressional budget preparations, the Oro Chamber of Commerce expressed confidence in the event’s outcome following commitments from the Mindanao Development Authority.
Engineeer Almarico Brito stated that the MinDA Secretary committed to advocating for all resolutions drafted by regional chambers in collaboration with relevant government agencies.
Brito added that this support reassures stakeholders that economic development initiatives across Mindanao will proceed effectively.
