Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Region 10 Director Aljo Bendijo acknowledged confusion among local multicab drivers regarding their eligibility to collect recently approved fare increases intended for traditional jeepneys.
Bendijo stated that official guidelines omitted specific references to passenger multicabs, promising that regional authorities will review the issue promptly to issue clear instructions.
He reminded drivers that updated official fare matrices must be posted inside vehicles before collecting higher fares.
