Estimated damages have reached P1.3 million following an early morning fire yesterday in Zone 9, Macanhan, Barangay Carmen. According to Carmen Fire Station Commander SFO2 Bonie A. Antesco, seven BFP fire trucks along with seven volunteer trucks responded swiftly to extinguish the blaze that broke out at the residence of vlogger Pril John Ladra Acao.
The official added that nearly 20 houses were gutted by the fire. Investigators are currently determining the cause of the incident, but preliminary findings point to faulty electrical wiring, as a power outage was reported in the area prior to the blaze.
Despite the significant damage and panic caused by the fire, the BFP confirmed that no injuries or fatalities were reported.
