Bishop Joseph Lagumbay of the Catholic Universalist Church of Asia Pacific emphasized during Pride Month that God’s love makes no distinctions and excludes no one, including members of the LGBT community.

He assured that there is nothing wrong with how God created people, as the Almighty already knew them even in their mother’s womb.

He explained that the issue is not being gay or lesbian, but rather malicious acts such as deception, abuse, and exploitation of sexuality.

The bishop further clarified that Christ also died for LGBT members, so all must be considered part of His love.

Finally, he noted that even animals in nature display similar traits, making this a mystery of life that should be understood more deeply.
