The National Union of Students of the Philippines demanded not only the impeachment but also the conviction of Vice President Sara Duterte.
Secretary General Ceejay Bebis said Duterte must be held accountable for questionable funds, including ₱612.5 million in confidential funds and ₱500 million spent during her time at the Department of Education.
He added that over ₱1 billion was involved if the ₱112.5 million allegedly spent in just 11 days without proper receipts and liquidation is included.
Bebis also called for accountability from President Marcos Jr. regarding other corruption issues in the country.
