CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines – Gibasura sa Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) ang mikuyanap nga report nga na-hack ang database sa ilang ahensya, hinungdan sa pag-crash sa ilang website.
Gitin-aw ni PCSO General Manager Mel Robles nga ‘fake news’ ang mikatag nga impormasyon ug walay na-hack sa ilang sistema.
Miingon si Robles nga wala sila nagpakitabang sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) kay normal man ang ilang operasyon, sukwahi sa mihungaw nga mga impormasyon.
“This is fake news. There was no breach nor any successful attempt to hack the systems of PCSO,” ingon ni Robles
Mahinumduman nga niadtong Miyerkules, gipalanog sa cyber hacker group nga nagpaila sa ngalang Philippines Exodus Security, ang report nga ilang nakuha ang tibook ngalan, address, phone numbers, IDs, sa tanan lotto winners gikan sa tuig 2016 padulong sa kasamtangang tuig, gikan sa data base sa PSCO.
Gitubag kini ni Robles ug namugos nga secured ang tanan ngalan sa mga jackpot winner sa lotto sulod sa ilang Head office.
“Our database for the lotto jackpot winners is safe in the head office. The branch offices are not connected to the head office. I have just checked, and at the moment, none of our websites are compromised, breached, or hacked,” pagtin-aw ni Robles.
